Best on TV

When it’s summer there’s usually just reruns on TV but that’s okay since they’ve decided to show “Bleak House” again. Love Gillian Anderson as Lady Deadlock, she did a wonderful performance and I think she should have won the BAFTA Awards for best actress. Anna Maxwell Martin was good but not as good as Gillian.

Then they will also show new episodes of Ms Marple next week, can’t wait. Geraldine McEwan is so cute as Ms Marple, I want her to my grandma, we can knit, have tea and solve crime together.
A good tv summer so far…

LampLagret

LampLagret have a selection called “New England” and I have to say “I like it”, not sure what Australia has to do with New England but there's pillows and throws with the Australian flag on it and I happen to like that flag. There was also this lamp that is sort of ugly but I like it anyway, I tend to like ugly stuff…

I want this book

It's, Harry, it's knitting, it's a book!! It is so on my (very long) booklist which I will print out on the computer and hand out in time for my birthday. Made by Alison Hansel by the way, and she has a blog called The Blue Blog (where blue is for knitting). And there's also a Charmed Knit blog for everyone to checkout.

Nirvana garden "chair"

This is sort of ugly but I can’t help to think that it would be pretty damn cozy being all curled in inside that thing with a cup of tea, maybe having it out in the rain isn’t such a good thing though? But tea, a friend and some juice gossip and it would be a great evening in my opinion. What do you think?

John Derian

Ended up at Designers Library and I saw something new to obsess about. Trays and coasters of all colors and shapes and there’s something that makes me think of Sid Dickens tiles when I see them, you can hang them on the wall. They are from John Derian and beside this nice skeleton wall piece they have trays for all occasions and some with a new obsession of mine, old letters! Oh, and cute butterflies to!

Inspiration for my bedroom

Like this bedroom that I found at Ralf Lauren, it looks warm and cozy and that’s what I want. This particular bedroom isn’t possible in my tiny room, with that massive bed I mean. Doubt it would fit.
I also found an old IKEA catalogue and liked one of the rooms in that one which I usually don’t.

I want this!!

I hate to say this but I really don’t like this person! She’s great at both knitting and photography, why can't I be good at that?! Pure envy!
I spotted this cardigan or whatever you want to call it and how great would that be to wear on a day like today (traditional midsummer weather aka cold and very likely to rain)? Or perhaps this fall. My knitting English isn’t good enough to buy an English pattern so I have to see if I can find a similar one in Swedish.
Knitting is not that hard but I wouldn’t call it easy either. I’m going to my friends mom and see if she can teach me some more and mean while I rely on this woman to help me out. I love this site.

The French House

Found this place by accident, like I usually find things and they had plenty old worn out things that I liked. Favorite pick, a bed which is so not my style and a chair which also isn’t my style but there’s something about them that I really like.

IN trade

I can’t make my mind up… Black and white wallpaper, or red or perhaps pink or purple… Should there just be plain colors or should there be patters? I’m so confused and all of these nice wallpapers isn’t helping, you want them all! All of these are from IN Trade and are sold at a place where I get a nice discount. But it’s about time that I do something about my bedroom, I have to do something and wallpapers would be nice. (Lived without wallpapers for a few years now)

The wallpaper frenzy continues…

This wallpaper from Lewis & Wood has been featured in every magazine in Sweden, people love it and I understand why but would it look good in my house? No… I also liked this red wallpaper (it’s available in other colors) , also from Lewis & Wood and maybe I could have that in my room? Most of the walls will be covered with bookcases so something red will look good I think. And, there’s a place in Sweden that actually sell these wallpapers, usually I’m a master of falling for things that aren’t available here, but this you can get at Mariatorget No2 in Stockholm.

Kickass wallpaper!

Not sure how I ended up at Dear Ada but I’m glad I did because she had posted this great wallpaper with what I’m guessing are ravens on it since it’s called “Nevermore” and it’s from Palacepapers.

Ada got plenty of cool things at her blog so make sure you check it out.
It’s raining today, cold and windy so what’s a girl to do besides surfing the net and having tea? I’m a sucker for signs and here are some I found at The Junk Gypsy Company. They also have clothes and cool jewellery.

Cute stuff

All the stuff is form Femme Metale. I want a silver skull on my finger! The only bad thing is that I can’t afford it, that’s usually my problem.

Call me crazy…

But I like this! The colors, the pattern, but I wouldn’t want an entire wall with this wallpaper, maybe just cover up the boring old closet door?
