I like

It’s this software that makes Polaroid’s. I don’t know why but Polaroid’s are just cool. It cuts the head off of people but I’m sure you can get around that somehow. Get software here

Books

Finished “Freaky green eyes” and it was okay, the language was better than the other books I’ve been reading but I wasn’t that interested in the story. Then I read “Good grief” which was… I don’t know, maybe I just expect too much out of everything? I should stay away from chicklit and teen books written as diaries because I never like them.

Reading, “Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging”, why are so many teen books written as diaries?

Time to get on that exercise bike and pretend I’m riding along the French countryside.

Last seen movies

Managed to watch some movies between all the books, “Atonement” and “Pan’s labyrinth” and both of them were somewhat of a disappointment. I expected more, I guess my expectations were just too high.

Update on New Year’s resolutions

Did the scariest one which means I can finally get a haircut! Don’t know what happened to the food diary, I have to start with that again. Watching movies is running along smoothly though and having my “homemade” pedicures too but not once a month…

The writing is not going well at all… stuck like always and no idea how to get out of it but I have months left to finish it and I don’t have to write a master piece I just have to try.

Haven’t walked in heels in awhile but I saw a very cute cutout booties while a low heel so maybe I should get them and do some practicing.

The project are all going pretty slowly, no writing and learning how to make a decent manicure is hard and I haven’t even had any thoughts on sewing…

The book frenzy continues

So dull… feels like I’ve read it before, it was close to déjà vu at times when I read “My so-called life” by Joanna Nadin, maybe I’m reading too many teen books and they are all very similar? It’s not as good as Meg Cabot and thought that one pretty lame and felt like something I had read before…

Wasn’t very impressed with Ally Kennens “Berserk” (in Swedish it's called, "The penpal")either… Just read a chapter of Joyce Carol Oates “Freaky green eyes” and compared to what I have been reading it’s a change.

Bad tea

It’s supposed to be wild strawberry but it smells like stale beer, like the day after a party, ew…

Reading books like a maniac

Read three books since Saturday, sure one was Emily Strange and that one I finished walking from the library to the bus stop. It was one of those books with words on every other page so maybe I can’t put it on my 101 books in 1001 days…

Then I read “How to be popular” by Meg Cabot which was just another teen book (hey, there’s a book title). The entire books is a week in Steph Landrys life and it feels like I’ve read it before, a lot of similarities with her Princess book.

Then “Friday night knitting club” by Kate Jacob which is 364 pages with very small text so I think I did a pretty good job. I got way too many books from the library and I thought I wouldn’t make it through all of them but hey, looks like I’ll make it, knock on wood. It was okay, I expected a bit more and by the end it was a little too cute for me. I do feel guilty for the unfinished sweater I have, better start knitting, when I’ve read all the books that is.

It’s barely even spring but…

Look how cozy it looks. Autumn is probably my favorite time of the year… Picture found here

How to annoy your neighbors part four

Make a scaryass scarecrow. I like The Headless Horseman; they used wireframes and just dressed it, sounds easy enough to make (famous last words). Perhaps it’s not really a “scarecrow” but it sure is scary. The scarecrow next too it is nice too and looks very simple. More on how they made it here.

When you’ve made a scarecrow, make sure you light it up in the evening. So pretty…

Nice place for a cup of tea!

This looks ideal for tea! Well, I would remove the carpet and perhaps not have a white sofa but still, oh and a little stove to keep warm. Pretty! I want it!! More pictures here.
