The Stepford Wives

I’ve been thinking about reading the book by Ira Levin but when the movie was on TV the other day I recorded it and yesterday I watched it and I doubt I will read the book but it was so scary. Screw insane clowns hacking up teenagers and things like that, The Stepford Wives are scarier. I thought I had recorded the remake from 2004 with Nicole Kidman but I’m glad it was the original one because I have a crush on Katharine Ross.

Finally!!

I ordered some books TWO WEEKS AGO and finally, I got a mail today and they said they have sent my package. Let’s hope I don’t have to wait another two weeks. Sure, I’m already reading a book and I have a pile of books that I haven’t read but that’s no reason not to order new books is it?

Last seen movies

In a strange way was “Nosferatu” better than “Chicago”. Not a big fan of Renée Zellweger or Richard Gere, maybe that has something to do with it? Besides some Charlie Chaplin and Mel Brooks “Silent Movie” this was my first silent film but being a movie freak I should really watch a few more.

TOPSY TURVY DESIGN

I only find clothes that I will never be able to wear. How cute are these hats? Very! But when can I wear a hat? It would be fun to wear it to a job interview but… I don’t have anything to go with it, I would look pretty damn ridicules in one of those, but they are cute.

I think I want to see this… never been to a musical so why not right. And I do love all thoes peonies, I can almost smell them. Oh, I have to buy a peony this summer, a "Sarah Bernhardt"...

“My double life” by Sarah Bernhardt. I had no idea who this person was until I watch “Moulin Rouge” and Nicole says something like, “Do you think I can be like Sarah?”

I think Baz should make a movie about Sarah.

Latest book

I finished it the other day and I don’t know… It was pretty boring to me, I don’t think it was anything special, and Tim is actually making a movie out this? I wonder if Helena will play a witch one more time, she’s pretty good at that by now.
