Cute shirts

They are both from Loungefly, my favorite is the panda, pandas are cool!

Raw 7

Nice knitted stuff can be found at Raw 7, a little (a lot) more that I would spend on clothes but it doesn’t cost anything to just look.

This does not look good

I’ve been wondering for a long time why they haven’t maybe a sequel of The Lost Boys and especially why they haven’t made a Frog Brothers movie but by the looks of it, they are making a sequel and I doubt that it will turn out well. I wish it will but I doubt it…

What were they thinking?

The movie is Jack Frost and I don’t know what to make of this… Um… Well, if you were a big Hollywood producer or whatever and someone said, “Okay, it’s Jack Frost! A snowman serial killer.” Would you jump onboard? I wouldn’t, I would have kicked the guy out.

Disney’s Little Red Riding Hood

Um, are they making doughnuts in the beginning? It looks pretty funny with the little cat with the shotgun. It can’t be very good doughnuts… it’s not making much sense is it. This movie is about ten years older than the Betty Boop one, and I have to say, at seems to have happened during those ten years… I don’t get this one, I don’t. They have replaced the big bad wolf with a big nosed guy who looks like he’s selling something, and just what was he trying to do with Little Red? And the hunter is a guy with a plane… whatever but I find these old stuff so charming.

Betty Boop as Snow White

Okay, first of all, how hot is Betty Boop? She’s walking around in a tiny little black thing and showing of a garter. She’s such a little hottie and a fashion icon, which is pretty weird since she’s a cartoon from the 30’s…

Arthur Rackham

The wonderful art of Arthur Rackham, what can you say? They are just so… calming? I just love old fairy tales; they don’t make stuff like this anymore. There’s an art nouveau feeling to them and I guess I don’t need any wallpaper, I could just have pictures and art everywhere instead. How nice would it be to have one of these over you entire wall? Pretty damn nice.

Chelsea flower show

Maybe gardening and stuff like that is dorky, so what… I have to get my ass to the Chelsea Flower Show, or The Hampton Court. Anyway, just feel in love with some of the gardens, you can easily see what I like, green, lush and “messy”...
Geoffrey Whiten along with Brett Landscaping and Building Products managed to create this little piece of heaven for the Chelsea flower show. How nice would it be if this was your backyard? A cute little shed to keep gardening tools, perhaps have some tea in and maybe even store dahlias in the winter? And maybe, maybe grow some seeds in the early spring? Aw, so nice, rusty old stuff, green shrubs…
This “garden” from Hampton Court was just so… beautiful and sad. A lot of native British wildflowers are apparently threatened and this garden is a tribute to the plants that are no longer with us, their names are on the headstones. It’s called “The Fallen” and was made by Sim Flemons and John Warland and “Piece of Green”

A whole bunch of people were behind this garden, (AOA Corporation Co, Ishihara Kazuyuki Design Laboratory Oshima Shipbuilding Group, AOA Corporation Co Kazahana Co) and I LOVE the green moss walls, how cool are they? And more important, how can I make one?

All pictures are from the Royal Horticultural Society

Can you say pavlova?

I can’t but I sure ate A LOT of it, yummy! But next time I will do mini pavlovas or I’ll weigh a tone before Christmas… I throw some chocolate chip and cocoa in to the meringue mix and had plumes, raspberries and passion on top, nice, wanted blueberries but you can’t have it all can you. Easy to make and it was fun. Served with raspberry tea.

Wallpaper

Lovely wallpaper from Colefax and Fowler but of course I’m too much of a chicken to go for it, and one roll is about 112$ or 81€ so… But I like it, I like the black better but I think I would go with the lighter one. Oh, it’s called Snow Tree Gold and Snow Tree Black

Nice blog

Found this blog when I was out surfing one blog to the next (love to do that). So many nice pictures, and I realized that they have different kind of blueberries in America, I knew it! I have tried the American one and I have to say that I prefer the Swedish ones. Anyway, like the blog and it’s one of those blogs that makes me want to bring my camera with me everywhere I go but, A) I’m such a crappy “photographer” B) I would be worried I would break it C) I would be worried someone would take it…

House Martin

Why...

If the color had been a little different this would have been a great coat, and I'm not really found of the shoulders either but still... there's something about it that I like. It's from Cath Kidston

Books!

It's autumn and I finally managed to order some books… I got Charmed Knits by Alison Hansel so I’ll get working on another Gryffindor scarf the moment I get it. This scarf is for Jessica (not the evil one) and I hope it will be better than mine, which is still not done by the way.
Then I got “Homicide, a year on the killing streets” by David Simon, I have wanted to read this book for a long time.
Also got Miyako Kanamoris “Socks & Glove” after seeing a few pictures from it, so cute!
The classic “Catch 22” by Joseph Heller, never read it and it was on sale.
Then this really cute Swedish cookbook, all cookies and stuff. It’s called something like “Two sisters, 170 temptations from the cookbook café”, I’m going to bake my ass off when I get this book!

These pictures by Roland Person is from their upcoming book, "Winters sweet" or something like that, yummy! I want to try that trifle or what ever it is on the second from the right. The sisters also has a café here in the city, I should go there...

And then a book for my brother, his birthday is coming up…

Clock

Another nice clock, this one from Swedish site Lavender Fields who seems to have fallen for that French country look. It’s popular in Sweden at the moment, country style.

Cutest thing

This über cute owl is made by Lori Marie, so cute! And even Martha things so... I want this as well for Christmas, and you can at Loris Etsy shop Pretty little things

David and Goliath

What I want for Christmas is defiantly a gift certificate at David and Goliath, if they have that, if they don’t they should start with it. Anyway… they have plenty of cute stuff and I just had to post some here. Really into owls for some reason (I do blame Harry Potter a little, or maybe I should be blaming JK Rowling?). They have cute tote bags, pajamas, tees…

David and Goliath!

Weird new craving…

Tote bag, what on earth would I do with one? Anyway, found this super cute one at Emily the Strange, a new take on the classic art nouveau print by Théophile Steinlen.
