Some (crappy) pictures

Took these when I was out on a longer walk with my dog. They aren’t great but at least they’ll show what it looks like around here.

Ew!

I forget to check the lilies daily and yesterday I spotted this nasty little bug sitting on my Tiger Lily.

I don’t know…

I can understand why girls like it but I don’t. It was just too damn cute and that whole damsel in distress thing was too much for me. How many times did she use the sentence, “I love you”? Too many that’s how many… It started out okay, the first half was pretty good and I think it would have been a better book if the guy had been like a drug dealer or something instead of a vampire. It’s a very pretty cover for the sequel but I won’t read it, I do want that tulip though.

Couldn’t resist

So I bought a book and now I have to wait until it gets here. Hate waiting, waiting on my computer but it’s said to be here on Monday. Anyway, read the excerpt and it seemed pretty good so… I have no self-control when it comes to books, or plants for that matter. Oh my, I have 133 books on my wish list at Amazon

It's a bee! (or something)

My allium is in bloom and it seems like I’m not the only one that appreciates it. I have to remeber to get more of this...

Done, on to the next

Finished my book yesterday and I started reading a new one, “Twilight” by Stephenie Meyer, not sure why but so far so good. Have a feeling it will start suck soon, I don’t know why I think that, I just do… This is not my kind of book but I like to read books that become popular and try to understand why so I guess that’s why I’m reading it. It’s very easy so far so even though it’s about 400 pages I don’t think it will take that long for me to finish it.

I got a crush

I love this tree! It’s called Jacaranda and if of course not hardy here in Sweden I think I might have to leave Sweden just to grow this tree.

TULIPS
For some reason the deer left some tulips this year, which I’m very pleased about. Haven’t seen them in awhile and I thought I didn’t like them, maybe to protect myself since they usually gets eaten? Anyway, I like tulips and I’m buying some more for next year and I hope the deer is continuing to be nice to me.

New book

“The Canterville ghost and other short stories” Different stories by Oscar Wilde, Mark Twain Theodor Storm, Robert Louise Stevenson. Good with a short book, or there is now way I’ll make it.

Promise

To write at least four pages a day. That doesn’t sound like a farfetched dream, it could be a reality. I do want my own computer though, peace and quiet without people bothering me. But if I was to have a computer in my bedroom, when would I go to bed at night? Have a feeling I would stay up way too long… I wonder what a computer costs?

But the idea of getting time to write sounds so much better if I had my own little place to go to, a place where I wouldn’t be bothered. People snooping around, reading over my shoulder, hate that! The dream would be to have my own little shed though...

(PS. Just Decided to get my own computer, the promise will start when it arrives; I think I’m worth it)

I’m reading way too slow

I finally managed to finish my book… There’s no way I’ll make 101 books in 1001 days, unless I start to read really short books… I should have finished that book a long time ago; I should be a few chapters in on a new one by now. It doesn’t look good for the whole 101 books thingy right now.

They are taking my plants!!

It’s hard to be a guerrilla gardener. I planted some violets and some Blue-eyed Mary (Omphalodes verna) and now they are gone! So is the cute little pansy that was growing there, I hadn’t planted it there. There’s no trace of my Silene coronaria either, someone is taking them! So far my daffodils are okay but that’s probably because they are not in bloom right now. I don’t want to plant more stuff is people are taking it…

Deadly Girlz new collection

I had been looking forward to Deadly Girlz new collection but I was a little worried and it looks like I had reasons to be. It’s pretty damn dull… The favorite one is this green one and that’s because it’s my favorite color at the moment.

Thank god for Deadly Ca$h

Who wants tea?

I have a few flavored black teas that I don’t like and will never drink so… Elderberry, apple and one called Himalaya, not really sure what’s in it but some kind of fruit.

Found the lovely lady at MAD POTS of Tea

Boxwood vs Lavender

Trying to make something out of the “backyard”, it’s a mess but I spent the entire day yesterday digging and pulling weeds and there is an improvement. I want a nursery/kitchen/herb garden with cold frames and everything, little stone paths so that there’s no grass that needs to be mowed.

I want to make little borders to the flowerbeds and I think I want boxwood but lavender is nice too, but boxwood is evergreen, but lavender smell nice and is easy to sow… What to do? Maybe I can have both or perhaps that will make the flowerbeds too wide? My heart says boxwood but it would be a lot easier with lavender. Tricky, tricky…
