I really liked this movie, perhaps the first part more than the second but still. Michael Caine is excellent like always and there is something special about vigilantes. I like that concept and I’ll do my best to find more vigilante movies (do you know of any let me know).

Sometimes there is a fine line between vigilantism and revenge. In most vigilante movies there is an undertone of revenge like The Dark Knight or Spider Man or The Punisher. But if you take into consideration the revenge element you start to see that it actually is a very popular theme in movies. So many movies I can think of. Good guy is hurt by bad guy in one shape of form and good guy regroups and gets back to the bad guy to make the world a better place AND to get his revenge! People like that kind of 'escape' plot. It doesn't happen as often in real life and it makes you feel better to see the bad guys getting their asses kicked. I just watched the last Rambo again the other day and as cheesy as the action is I enjoyed it! So there's my two cents
