Not a hundred percent happy about the roof and it’s a little too rustic for me but it’s so adorable! I don’t even mind the fact that the door isn’t center of the house, I’m sort of obsessive about things being symmetrical but here it works anyway. In my head the balcony/porch faces a big glassy lake.
The bushes by the door are a little small; they should get some big rhododendron or yew and get rid of those potted things on the stair.

I love pretty much everything about this place. I agree about the smallishness of the bushes in the front. I could even see a couple of small trees there. And I am not TOO fond of the huge space under the covered side porch... It looks like a giant void. I agree also, that is HAS to be facing a lake! Tea Time anyone?
Yes I totally agree about the space under the porch, a nice hedge all around the house and two large rhododendrons by the door. And tea on the porch, so that’s settle then? Great!
